Welcome in Locale and Freddy's, concepts by Kok au Vin

After the success of the pop-up in June 2025, Freddy’s will have a permanent home in the historic De Bottelier building in Bruges. A place with soul, warm wooden accents, the patina of time, and the charm of a building that breathes history.
As if it’s always been waiting for Freddy’s.

What began as a temporary tribute to Jürgen Aerts’s father has now become a lasting ode to convivial dining, pure food and the taste of the past.

From now on, Jürgen and chef Hendrik will join forces within the Kok au Vin group and, with their entire team, run both Freddy’s and Locàle: two establishments, each with its own character, but one shared passion for taste and hospitality.
